First off Happy belated Mothers day to all the moms out there!

This (W.I.P) piece was done for my friends mother as a gift.They have been very kind to me and I asked if i could bring chocolates but he said if i could do a sketch instead.

He went on to tell me that when he was a kid. His mom would always play superheroes with him and she would always role play as wonder woman. I thought it was a great story and i hope this sketch will be able honor that story somehow. Wonder woman is always a blast to draw but at the same time like anyone in the trinty. There is always allot of thought for me. Im always trying to figure out what side to reflect in the drawing and how to honor the many facets of that character without over thinking it.

Anyways Happy mothers day and hope he doesn’t mind i shared that little story :)

Someone brought me some early Slurpee 90s bachalo art. my “older” art peers are going to yell at me but i had no idea how they were colored back in the day.i find this stuff so fascinating and i just assumed they colored on the pages or a copy of a page. crazy i need to learn more about comics history.

c2e2 is coming up and i decided because of the response of the robin designs. I wanted to test the waters with a 12 by 18 print of these guys. Its allot simpler and rougher than my usually stuff. Its also allot brighter a peer told me when i shared it with him.

I didn’t order very many and in fact i ordered half the amount i usually do. If you guys like it let me know! i love the feedback/ debate these guys sparked. I will do more and you guys inspired me to do so.

Also be sure to say hi if your in the Chicago area. This con is going to rock.

im late on this of course but this is the only piece ive really ever devoted time to superman.

My first work for dc/comics ever was back in 2009 was a superman short and i got to draw lois and superman in Halloween costumes.I drew them as Fred and Daphne. I couldn’t ask for any better characters.

I will say though that superman has always intimidated me and when they told me who i could draw i kinda wished for a d Lister instead only because superman has always been perfect. I wanted to work up to superman cause i always felt he was supposed to be the perfect man and i wasn’t there yet. I struggled on redrawing his face all night i remember and even got feed back which helped allot. I still cant get him perfectly and of course im still not there yet. I would love to try to draw him again one day. Practice makes perfect right?. Happy belated 75th birthday superman /super family

I sure am. I love Chicago and the fans have always been so nice to me. So that why i love coming back. Also that metal bean. Cant live with out it.
